Cello concerto "Ouroboros"

Jean-Guihen Queyras and Amsterdam Sinfonietta will give the world premiere of Thomas Larcher's cello concerto "Ouroboros" in Amsterdam, the Netherlands on Feb 11, followed by performances in Vienna, Austria (Feb 13), and in Enschede (Feb 18) and Leiden (Feb 19), the Netherlands.

Additional performances of the cello concerto will be given by Jean-Guihen Queyras with Pascal Rophé conducting the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra Apr 4–5 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Members of the Danish Piano Trio—cellist Toke Møldrup and pianist Katrine Gislinge—will give the world premiere of Geoffrey Gordon's "FATHOMS" on Dec 17 at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall in New York, NY. Also on the program are piano trios of Gade, Mendelssohn, and Bent Sørensen.
