During the 11 days of the Public Voting Round of our 1st annual Listeners' Choice Award, loyal fans, proud supporters, enthusiastic cellists and music lovers from 73 countries in five continents have visited and brought others to The Violoncello Foundation website to meet, listen and cheer for our five nominees.

After we have counted all your votes, the 1st annual Listeners' Choice Award undisputedly goes to cellist Laura Buruiana and pianist Matei Varga in "Brahms Sonatas" on the German label Coviello Classics.

We are also very happy to report that Frédéric Rosselet, Mariel Roberts, Joseph Johnson, and Amit Peled, all four of them, in their respective CD's, are practically tied for second place.
